Megan Mandel Bio
This past summer senior broadcasting and advertising major, Megan Mandel could be seen hanging out on the greens at her internship with the Cox Classic Tournament in Omaha 60 – 75 hours a week. “We made the mistake of averaging out what our pay was hourly, and it was something like 35 cents an hour.” She said she loved every minute of it
When she’s not “partying” with her fellow interns and golf players for well below minimum wage, she’s brushing up on her best red carpet anchor impression. “My cousin and I used to pretend that we were there, I always wanted Ryan Seacrests’ job.” It was at that young age, Megan knew she wanted to be in front of the camera; or talk in front of anyone who would listen.
While she doesn’t know how she’s going to contextualize her degrees into a profession, she has until next December to decide. Until then she’s keeping up with Ryan Seacrest, but not the Kardashian’s.
