Josh Gracin brings a little country to UNL
Josh Gracin, a country singer born in Michigan, lit up East Campus at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Thursday night.
Gracin, a former Marine, first gained the public’s attention during the second season of American Idol, where he came in fourth place.
Now, he has a Number One hit song and two in the Top Five on the country charts.
Gracin was the headliner of the UNL Homecoming concert. DJ Miller opened the concert for the country star and got the crowd riled up. Everywhere cowboy hats could be seen bobbing to the music.
When Gracin finally took the stage, hands were reaching out for him as the women screamed and the men whistled and yelled.
“I am here to see him live and it is cool that he is a country star,” said Patrice Schurr, a UNL business major.
Gracin brought a fun-loving energy to his performance and showed his fans that he enjoys what he does.
