Bio: Ken Haar was elected to the Nebraska Legislature in 2008, representing District 21. He had been a Lincoln City Council member for eight years. Haar is involved with Lancaster County Board of Health, Lincoln Mediation Center and the Nebraska Sierra Club. He has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He invented BearHooks Wilderness Food Hangers and is the CEO of Compliance at a Glance, which develops software for healthcare providers. He lives with his wife, Chris, in Malcolm.

Bio: Mike Hilgers is the co-founder of Gober Hilgers PLLC, a litigation practice that emphasizes commercial and intellectual property matters. He represents clients in white collar defense and appellate matters. Hilgers worked for Fish & Richardson, P.C., in Dallas and Husch Blackwell, LLP. He worked as clerk for Judge Edith Brown Clement of the 5th U.S. Court of Appeals. Hilgers earned a bachelor’s degree at Baylor University and a law degree from University of Chicago. He is a parishioner at North American Martyrs Catholic Church. Hilgers belongs to the Rotary and the Lincoln Independent Business Association. He lives with his wife, Heather, and their daughter, Alice.
