College Costs: Scorecard offers resources for students, parents
A new study says child care is more expensive than the cost of college in 35 states.
But that doesn’t make grappling with the cost of college any easier for most teenagers and their parents. A U.S. Department of Education website — the College Scorecard — tries to help parents and teens figure out the best college fit. And the Federal Trade Commission cautions parents to be wary of financial aid scams.
