As a born and raised Lincoln boy, Reid Hunsaker, grew up loving the huskers and college football. He is now a Junior Broadcast student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln looking to pursue a career in sports broadcasting. He said his favorite motto to use is “you can’t spell husker without Hunsaker”.

Football isn’t the only sport that got Hunsaker interested in the business, his mom is from Canada so hockey was in his blood. His favorite team, the Calgary Flames, means a lot to him. His uncle, and role model, was diagnosed with stage four Cancer recently and they share a bond over the hockey team.

Along with his uncle, Hunsaker enjoys spending time with all of his family and recently went to Colorado to visit his sister. He enjoys running and hiking on his free time along with traveling when he can.

If you want to find Hunsaker on campus he currently hosts a radio show at KRNU2 called “The Penalty Box” and co-hosts another show, “Beyond the Arc”. Oh, and yes, they are both about sports. Or give him a follow on twitter at @HUnSaKER_4_LIFE.
